That's hilarious! Much as I love Tolkien I can understand the poor Inklings (and btw - would the singular of Inklings be Inkling? Because saying "I'm an Inkling" sounds rather sad? Possibly because, to me, it sounds so much like the Norwegian word ynkling with means a pathetic person. But I majorly digress here, and I'm moving on)

So true! The complexity of the show always hits me when I try to write about it. It's like running into a wall because there is just so much! I have great plans for a marathon rewatch soon. I'm just curious to see s1 in light of s3.
