Remeber those shepherds in the field abiding? They were dressed sensibly for the occasion - with mittens. We have visual proof!

The sensible shepherds - dressed for a cold night, complete with mittens. I kind of love the mitten detail.

And Strippy mittens to boot. The best kind. Though they don't have those little strings to pin them to thiier sleeves. Their Moms will be so mad when they loose one.
