A vintage WPA Federal Art Project poster from New York about tuberculosis. From 1941.

Heeeeeeeee! but I must say, after the NHS information leflet that we got through the post nothing scares me anymore. Just look below: this man is dying. and he looks evil. and he is spreading the disease. and we all going to die.

I am not easily frightened - but this leaflet is supposed to stop the population from panicking? I don't think so. It is meant to make you feel AFRAID.

The kid actually looks sick. That is what freaks me out. *loves 1940's posters*

Few things cane compete with 1930's and 1940' posters for sheer brilliance and surreality. Another favourite is this one against syphilis. (http://vintagraph.com/index.php?showimage=35)

Hee. I'm honestly a bit worried about how much that baby scares me, and how entertaining I find that fact.
