I'm sorry, I just have to share my giggles everytime I think about the Tolkien books (which I'm sorry to say never, ever grabbed me the way the films did). So I read in Salon, I think, that apparently he got all hurt because he was always sharing new bits with the Inklings and someone was finally all, "Not those fucking elves again!" Heeeeeeeee.
And aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah how I love 'The Wire.' "The king stay the king." And you're right about the dialogue. I appreciate that they get the accents, and the vocabulary really right, and it sounds like the city should sound.
