It is either "It's business" or it is "all in the game" and in a way these two things mean the same but at the same time they don't - the game is a wide "classification"
YES! This is very interesting and I think very true. "All in the game" is a wider definition, and while violent it allows for more emotion than "it's all business" does. The interesting this is that for The Greeks it isn't a game, it is business. Then there is Avon who isn't so much with the business but definitely more "all in the game" - and in the middle there is Stringer who tries to turn the game into business, all while forgetting that the Game has rules of its own.
And thank you - I had great fun writing this. I've been wanting to do a post like this for ages, but my head has been elsewhere. "The Wire" is a difficult show to digest and put into words.
