Heee. I have to say, I'm firmly in the camp of loathing Saving Private Ryan and really liking The Thin Red Line. I just thought the latter was gorgeous. And, well, thoughtful. And I'll take anvilicious pondering any day over anvilicious patriotism and Oscar Emotional Blackmail as a driving theme.
