Past Lives
Mar. 18th, 2007 11:46 pmStumbled across this while reading about World War II:
The Seven Past Lives of General George S. Patton
1.) A prehistoric mammoth hunter
2.) A Greek hoplite who fought the Persians
3.) A soldier of Alexander the Great at the siege of Tyre
4.) Hannibal
5.) A Roman legionary under Julius Caesar
6.) An English knight during the Hundred Years' War
7.) A Napoleonic marshal
I think #4 is my favourite, and that it is possibly an elephant joke waiting to happen. Sadly I'm to tired or just to lacking imagination to come up with one. ;)

Yup, if I had to guess I was probably a farmer or a cleaning lady.
I've always wondered though what would happen if two people who both claimed they had been, say, Marie Antoinette met. Would they argue? Would they agree her soul had possibly been split? Would they fight it out and eat
cakebrioche?
