baleanopteraFirst real sneak peak at the series The Pacific, aka the new WWII series by the team that made Band of Brothers. Due for release in 2010. Why, yes - I am excited.
As far as I know it is based on Eugene B. Sledge's book "With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa" which is pretty good as far as WWII-memoires go.
