The reasons might be many. I might be a little bored at work, or maybe just not quite there. At any rate I took a look at the spam filter in my mail account β and I will admit that some of those senders have rather wicked names.
There is Horatio Cavanagh β whose mail title is "Your indefatigabl". I thought that was rather cute, odd spelling aside. Saskia Vandyke wants to talk to me about "Your concett" β whatever that is. Saskia, my Saskia - have you typed a "t" instead of a "r" or a "p"? My favourite is from Luitpold Creighton who titles his "Your spleen!". And I have to give it to Luitpold - that does grab ones attention. My second favourite is from Blair Cyr who has an interest in "Your rapidfire". Um...that sounds rather dangerous Blair. Mireille Comstock advertises herself with "My Buttonhoo" . I think itβs the "hoo" part that does it for me really. And to end it all there is Irina Pinkston and the header "Undertaker!" Not just an undertaker, but an undertaker with an exclamation mark.
Sadly (?) I have not read the actual mails, as it's just the names that appeal to me. But just savor the taste of Luitpold. He should be a character in a book. Perhaps a thrilling adventure - filled with pirate ships, snakes, vague historical correctness and a Scandinavian with a really bad accent. Or maybe a film noir starring Horatio Cavanagh and Saskia Vandyke as his sassy secretary? The possibilities are endless! Even if I'm not sure where to place Ms. Comstock and her buttonhoo.
And yes...I might be verging on the side of crack here....
