Now that I've thought about it, I think you've got it backwards. I think you can have a complex sense of humor and still laugh at silly little things; it's when you've got a simple sense of humor that you can't find anything funny in complex or involved things.
Hee! I just keep watching it and re-watching it to the point were its almost ridiculous. I just love the piano music ans shots of every body running. :D
This is too cool! Star Wars lends itself especially well to the silent film treatment - didn't Lucas say once that he wanted to score it as if the music had to carry the film or something like that?
The Ewoks are just the best, and the high pitched music when Luke is running - and all the running Stormtroopers! Hee! And there is just something about Han's running first at and then from the troopers that lends itself especially well to silent film.
And yes, I think you're right about the music. I'm grateful for that, because I love the score! Still one of my favorite music scores. :)
