Morris dancing

To me this news item has something of a Terry Pratchett vibe. The BBC reports that Morris dancing is in danger of becoming extinct. Young people are just too embarrassed to take part. But the leader of the Morris Ring, Paul Reece, says there is still hope and ads:

"There is still time for new blood to get ready for the spring fertility offensive,"

Really? The spring fertility offensive? Sounds, um, a bit promiscuous. Not to mention a bit dangerous... ;)
